This digital age is great. Not for Music sales, however as the total of all music sales, according to the recording industry association of america, has decrease by $4 billion since 2014 with CD sales decreasing by 17% and Music video sales decreasing by 20%.

According to the BFI, in recent times digital copies of songs have now sold more in 2015 than physical CD copies

The easier way to gain big money these days is through tours and concerts, Beyonce gains $5.8 million per show. However for smaller indie bands like Pomplamoose, touring can be a risk. In their tour they had a revenue of $135,000 but the expenses were $147,000 dollars, making them lose £12,000 dollars.
