Codes and conventions of a magazine adverts

Advertisements are used widely in the media to grab your attention and scream in your face "Hey! Look at me!" and a magazine advert for music is no different. Artists will usually confine this advertisement to a small page, or as a poster in rock magazines such as kerrang. Magazine adverts will use the same iconography and symbolism as digipaks in our previous analysis.
