Links between Artist Audience and Advertisement

Advertisements, believe it or not, are already tailored to a certain audience when they are published through the use of Symbolism and Iconography to appeal to the target audience. The main way of doing this is by using the artists face as advertisement. as shown by Lana below. The advertisement is using Lana as she was a YouTube star before a mainstream star, and therefore people will recognise her from youtube, and therefore the advert will stick in their minds more
